What will I learn in this workshop ?
Incorporating corrugated filigree elements into your filigree designs is a great way to enhance your designs and differentiate yourself as a filigree artist.
In this workshop you will:

- Learn about specialty tools for corrugating your filigree wire including how to make a simple Corrugation tool.
- Learn how to make corrugated (Zig Zag) filigree wire
- Learn how to incorporate corrugated filigree wire into your filigree designs
- See demonstrations on how to use corrugated filigree wire in three different types of designs using both coiled corrugated filigree wire and straight corrugated filigree wire
What tools will I need ?

- A filigree wire corrugation tool. There are a couple of corrugation tools available.
- Tweezers, Preferably type 00
- Flush Cutters
- Bench Block preferably 4” x 4”
- Copper plate 18 Ga thick and about 2” x 2”
- Rolling mill.
- Digital Caliper
- Ring Mandrel
- 6” ruler
- Typical jewelers Files
- Chain nose pliers
- Soldering Setup with ventilation, jeweller’s torch, pickle pot, etc
- Clean, flat, solderite block
What is the maximum class size ?
Class will be limited to a maximum of 15 students
What materials and Supplies will I need ?

Note that for those who do not wish to make their own filigree wire, 26GaF0.25 filigree wire, prepared by me, is available for $15/ meter(About $USA 3.50/foot). Note that this does not include shipping costs. Tariffs, if any will be your responsibility. Tariffs are difficult to predict as they are charged by USA customs and details on this are fluid.
Also note, that this is NOT corrugated filigree wire. You will be corrugating this wire during the workshop.
Consumables
- Filigree wire – Fine Silver 26GaF0.25 annealed , about 1.2 meters
- Round Sterling Silver Wire – 16 Ga (1.26 mm diameter) about 15 cm
- Round Sterling Wire – 20Ga (0.8 mm diameter) about 5 cm

- Sheet solder hard and medium and your preferred flux

It is for those who would like to learn how to make and use Corrugated / Zig Zag filigree wire in their filigree designs.
You must have taken an Introduction to Filigree workshop from Milt or another instructor and you must be capable of making traditional filigree wire.

Why do you require payment in canadian dollars ?
My website is hosted by Weebly/Square. Payment is managed by Square. As my country of residence is Canada, Square will only allow me to bill in Canadian Dollars and does not offer me the ability to bill in $USA or other foreign currencies.
You may use a USA or other foreign currency credit card and your credit card company will handle to currency exchange. You will not have to fuss this.
